Garvin Park

About This Location

Garvin Park is a historic public park located in Evansville, Indiana. It was planned and laid out in 1915 for the city of Evansville in a naturalistic landscape style. Located in the park are the contributing concrete and stone bridges, a Works Progress Administration-era bandstand and historic Bosse Field baseball stadium. Bosse Field is the third-oldest ballpark still in regular use for professional baseball, surpassed only by Fenway Park in Boston and Wrigley Field in Chicago.
